1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions, the following terms carry the meanings given below:

  • "Ashcombe Pelleas" refers to Ashcombe Pelleas Sdn Bhd, a company registered in Malaysia, with a principal place of business at Level 12, Menara Maybank, 100 Jalan Tun Perak, 50050 Kuala Lumpur.
  • "Programme" refers to any of the three financial education courses offered by Ashcombe Pelleas: First Magnitude: Personal Finance Observation; Catalogue of Investment Objects; and Long Observation: Retirement Catalogue Studies.
  • "Participant" refers to any individual who has enrolled in a Programme or who accesses Programme materials.
  • "Materials" refers to workbooks, recorded sessions, readings, reference documents, and any other content provided as part of a Programme.
  • "Website" refers to the site operated by Ashcombe Pelleas at ashcombe.

2. Nature of Services

Ashcombe Pelleas provides financial education programmes. All content delivered through our programmes is educational and informational in nature only. Nothing in any programme, material, facilitator session, written communication, or on our website constitutes financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, legal advice, or any other form of professional advice regulated under Malaysian law.

Participants should seek the guidance of a licensed financial planner, investment adviser, tax consultant, or solicitor before making any financial decision. Ashcombe Pelleas does not hold a Capital Markets Services Licence or a Financial Adviser's Licence under the Capital Markets and Services Act 2007 or the Financial Services Act 2013.

3. Enrolment

Enrolment in a Programme is confirmed once Ashcombe Pelleas has received a completed enquiry or enrolment submission and the applicable programme fee has been received in full. A confirmation will be sent to the email address provided on enrolment.

Ashcombe Pelleas reserves the right to decline or cancel an enrolment at its discretion. In such cases, any fee paid will be refunded in full within 14 working days.

  • Participants must be 18 years of age or older
  • One enrolment entitles one individual to access Programme materials — enrolment may not be shared or transferred without written consent from Ashcombe Pelleas
  • Enrolment details, including email address, must be accurate and kept up to date

4. Fees & Payment

Programme fees at the time of these Terms are as follows:

  • First Magnitude: Personal Finance Observation — MYR 410
  • Catalogue of Investment Objects — MYR 1,880
  • Long Observation: Retirement Catalogue Studies — MYR 3,400

Fees are payable in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR). Ashcombe Pelleas reserves the right to update fees for future enrolment periods. Fees published at the time of enrolment apply to that enrolment and will not be increased retrospectively.

Payment is due in full prior to the commencement of Programme materials being provided. Where instalments are agreed, access to materials will follow the payment schedule set out in the enrolment confirmation.

5. Cancellation & Refunds

Participants may cancel their enrolment and request a refund in accordance with the following schedule:

  • Cancellation within 7 days of enrolment confirmation and before accessing any programme materials: full refund less an administrative fee of MYR 50
  • Cancellation after 7 days or after accessing programme materials: no refund will be issued

To request a cancellation, contact us in writing at [email protected] with your name and enrolment reference. Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 14 working days to the original payment method.

Ashcombe Pelleas reserves the right to cancel or substantially alter a Programme. In such cases, enrolled participants will be given reasonable notice and offered the choice of a full refund or transfer to a rescheduled or alternative programme.

6. Programme Access

Upon confirmed enrolment and receipt of fees, participants will receive access to Programme materials in accordance with the programme structure. Recorded sessions are available for the duration of the participant's active access window.

  • Programme materials are provided for personal, non-commercial educational use only
  • Access credentials must not be shared with third parties
  • Post-completion support, where included, is available for three months from the date of programme completion
  • Optional facilitator sessions, where offered, are subject to availability and must be scheduled in advance

Ashcombe Pelleas makes reasonable efforts to ensure programme materials are available and up to date. Scheduled maintenance and updates may occasionally require brief periods of unavailability, of which we will give advance notice where practicable.

7. Intellectual Property

All programme materials — including workbooks, recordings, reading materials, and reference documents — are the intellectual property of Ashcombe Pelleas and are protected by applicable Malaysian copyright law.

Participants are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use programme materials for personal educational purposes only. This licence does not include the right to:

  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute materials to third parties
  • Use materials for commercial purposes, training, or instruction of others
  • Record, screenshot, or otherwise capture video or audio sessions for redistribution
  • Remove or obscure any copyright or proprietary notices

All website content, including text, design, and layout, is similarly the property of Ashcombe Pelleas. Enquiries about licensed use may be directed to [email protected].

8. Participant Conduct

Participants are expected to engage with programme materials and facilitators in a respectful and constructive manner. Ashcombe Pelleas reserves the right to withdraw programme access, without refund, where a participant:

  • Engages in abusive, threatening, or harassing conduct toward staff or facilitators
  • Shares access credentials with third parties
  • Reproduces or distributes programme materials without authorisation
  • Provides false or misleading information during the enrolment process

9. Disclaimers

Our total liability to a participant in connection with their enrolment shall not exceed the total fees paid by that participant for the relevant programme.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under Malaysian law.
