WHY ASHCOMBE PELLEAS

What Sets Our Approach Apart

Structured Learning Registers

All programmes follow a catalogue-style structure — each concept documented, sequenced, and cross-referenced for reliable learning.

Shariah-Aware Coverage

Investment content covers Shariah-compliant instruments alongside conventional options — relevant and respectful of Malaysia's financial landscape.

Qualified Educators

Sessions are facilitated by educators with backgrounds in Malaysian financial markets and adult learning — no sales pressure, only clear explanation.

Patient, Long-term Focus

We take the astronomer's view — sound understanding builds over time. No shortcuts, no pressure, no unrealistic expectations.

Malaysia-Specific Context

All content is grounded in Malaysian regulatory, cultural, and market context — EPF, unit trusts, ASNB, and local estate frameworks.

Tangible Study Materials

Participants receive register-style workbooks and reference portfolios that remain useful long after the programme concludes.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Questions About Our Programmes

Who are these programmes suitable for?
Our programmes are intended for working adults and individuals in Malaysia who want to develop a clearer, more systematic understanding of personal finances — regardless of prior knowledge. The introductory programme suits those just beginning; the investment and retirement programmes are suited to those ready to go further.
Are these programmes delivered online or in-person?
Study sessions are recorded and available online at a pace that suits you. Optional discussion sessions with facilitators are conducted virtually or at our Kuala Lumpur office by arrangement. Materials are provided digitally and, where specified, as printed register workbooks.
Do participants receive a certificate on completion?
A programme completion record is issued to all participants who complete the full programme. This is an educational document, not a professional qualification. Participants are welcome to discuss the scope of any programme before enrolment.
How long does each programme take?
The Personal Finance Observation programme typically spans 4–6 weeks at a steady pace. The Catalogue of Investment Objects is designed for 8–10 weeks. The Long Observation retirement programme is extended and is typically completed over 12–16 weeks, reflecting its depth of material.
Do you provide financial advice as part of the programme?
No. Ashcombe Pelleas provides financial education — we explain concepts, structures, and frameworks. We do not offer personalised financial advice or investment recommendations. Participants are always encouraged to consult a licensed financial planner for their individual circumstances.
What is your refund policy?
Refund requests made within 7 days of enrolment, before accessing study materials, are reviewed individually. Once materials have been accessed, partial refunds may apply. Full details are set out in our Terms & Conditions. Please contact us with any concerns and we will handle enquiries considerately.
