Six Reasons Participants Choose Ashcombe Pelleas
Catalogue-Method Structure
Every programme is built like an astronomical register — concepts are documented in sequence, cross-referenced, and revisited. Learners always know where they are and where they are going.
Malaysia-Specific Content
EPF, ASNB, Tabung Haji, Bursa-listed instruments, Shariah-compliant structures, and Malaysian estate law. No generic global content that leaves local participants needing to translate everything.
No Product Sales. Ever.
Ashcombe Pelleas holds no commercial arrangements with financial product providers. What we teach is not shaped by what someone wants us to sell.
Qualified, Experienced Educators
Our facilitators come from Malaysian financial markets and adult education backgrounds. They explain things clearly and handle questions honestly — not defensively.
Lasting Reference Materials
Participants leave with register-style workbooks that function as ongoing references. The materials are designed to remain useful two or three years after completion.
Paced for Real People
Recorded sessions mean participants study at their own pace — evenings, weekends, whenever suits. There is no pressure to rush through material to keep up with a class.
Learning from People Who Have Observed the Markets
Our educators hold backgrounds in Malaysian financial analysis, EPF advisory work, and estate planning education. They are not individuals who learned from books and then began teaching — they have worked in the field and bring that observational record into the classroom.
This means participants receive explanations that are grounded in how these instruments actually behave in practice, not just how they appear in a textbook.
Study When and Where You Can
Recorded sessions are accessible on any device. Materials are provided as digital downloads, and printed workbooks are available on request. Participants in Sabah and Sarawak have the same access to content as those attending sessions in Kuala Lumpur.
Discussion sessions with facilitators are conducted via video call, with in-person options available at our KL office for those nearby.
Questions Are Welcome — Not Managed Away
Our support approach is straightforward: if a participant has a question about programme content, they receive a thoughtful answer. We do not deflect to sales conversations or redirect to upsell offers.
Enquiries are typically responded to within one to two business days. Facilitator sessions can be arranged to address specific areas where participants feel they need more time.
What You See Is What the Programme Costs
Programme fees are stated clearly. There are no additional charges for materials, no subscription fees after completion, and no upsell pathways embedded in the learning process. The fee covers the full programme as described.
Participants who want optional facilitator sessions are informed of any associated cost before booking — nothing is added without prior agreement.
What Participants Leave With
By the end of each programme, participants are able to describe the instruments they have studied, explain how they work, identify their characteristics, and make more informed conversations with their licensed financial advisors.
This is the only result we measure and the only result we aim for. Financial education that produces clarity — not dependency, not loyalty to a product, and not the illusion of expertise.

What You Will Not Find Elsewhere
The Catalogue-Portfolio
The Long Observation programme delivers a planning catalogue-portfolio — a personal document that participants populate during their studies and keep as a working reference for their own financial record-keeping. No other Malaysian financial education programme offers this format.
Register-Style Workbooks
Designed to function like an astronomer's observation log — each entry building on the last. The format encourages methodical learning and gives participants a personal record of their growing understanding, structured the same way across all three programmes.
Bilingual Facilitation
Programmes are delivered in English, with participants welcome to raise questions in either English or Bahasa Malaysia. Facilitators are comfortable with both and understand the specific terminology participants encounter in Malaysian financial documentation.
Post-Programme Support Window
Participants may submit questions about programme content for up to three months after completion — not new topic requests, but clarification queries about what they studied. This window is included in the programme fee.
A Record of Careful Work
Operating from Kuala Lumpur since 2014, serving participants across Malaysia.
Across all three programmes since the first cohort in 2015.
Participants who begin our programmes consistently complete them — a reflection of pacing that respects real life.
Affiliated with the Malaysian Financial Education network since 2018.
